  • REGIONAL CONCERNS

In addition to carefully following the overall situation in different regions, CCCIA is currently focusing specifically on four countries or areas in four different regions: Cuba, Palestine/Israel, the Korean Peninsula and Zimbabwe.

The regional desks within the International Affairs, Peace and Human Security team are providing information and analysis on the human rights situations and efforts for peace and reconciliation from the perspective of the churches and Christian communities in those areas, and sharing them with the WCC leadership, the Commission of the Churches in International Affairs (CCIA) and WCC governing bodies for further reflection and action.
