Photos by Sune See EA Sune from Denmark's reports of 1 October ("I find it hard to believe"), and 15 October 2003 ("Two years of Intifada and back to square one") From mid June to 6 September, all major cities in the West Bank have been under curfew. During this period, Ramallah has been under curfew for 91 days, open for a total of 549 hours. Nablus has been closed for 97 days, open for 83 hours. Since the beginning of the 2002 school term, children in Jenin and Nablus have not had one full day of school. 850 schools have been temporarily closed, 8 schools have been turned into military barracks, 185 schools have been shelled and fired upon, 11 schools have been completely destroyed. 132 children have been killed and 2,500 injured on their way to school (source: Palestine Monitor, www.palestinemonitor.org ).
