The World Council of Churches’ Asia Desk assists 71 member churches, 15 national councils of churches (NCCs), the Christian Conference of Asia (CCA) and other ecumenical partners in Europe and North America to develop their diakonal work, and to maintain relationships with the WCC constituency. The operational area of the WCC Asia Desk spans 27 Asian countries. The total membership of WCC member churches/councils in Asia amounts to about 70 million people.

c. Capacity-building
d. Fostering a coherent and holistic approach to meeting human needs.
