Learning for Identity Are there common aspects in human identity? What role do gender, context, race, and community play in determining our identity? These are some of the questions this new educational video tries to raise. Life in pluralist and globalising societies is challenging people more and more to question their identity. Education is in itself a process which facilitates the search for one's identity. The video gives people from very different contexts and cultural backgrounds an opportunity to share with the viewer their thoughts and reflections on "learning for identity". Many of the contributions come from the Pacific region and it is interesting to note that they express the same concerns as elsewhere in the world. The video is not meant to be shown as a whole, but taken section by section. There are 14 sections, each about 7 minutes long.
