The
WCC Europe Desk & Eastern Europe Office work actively with churches
and related organizations throughout the Europe region, and mainly
in Central and Eastern Europe. In order to share information and
analysis on the church and ecumenical context in the region, the
Desk has developed "church & country profiles" for individual
countries. These profiles include information on :
basic social
and political data on the country and population
the church
and religious profile of the country, including reference to the
WCC member churches
facts about
church and ecumenical structures and organizations
specific details
of the religious legislation in the country
a summary of
the WCC programmatic involvement and partners in the country
links
and references for further information and resources
